Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and Absolute Electrical Services ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website and electrical services.

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, you are prohibited from using our website and services.

Services

Absolute Electrical Services provides electrical contracting services including, but not limited to:

• Electrical panel upgrades and installations
• EV charger installation
• LED lighting installation and upgrades
• Residential electrical services
• Commercial electrical services
• Generator installation
• Electrical inspections and troubleshooting

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for most electrical work. Estimates are based on the information provided and a visual inspection of the work area. Actual costs may vary if:

• Hidden conditions are discovered during work
• The scope of work changes from the original estimate
• Additional materials or labor are required
• Permit requirements differ from initial assessment

Any changes to the original estimate will be communicated and approved by you before additional work is performed.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

• For jobs under $1,000: Payment is due upon completion
• For jobs over $1,000: A deposit may be required before work begins
• Progress payments may be required for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon completion of work and final inspection approval

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. A service fee may apply to credit card payments for certain transactions.

Permits and Inspections

Many electrical projects require permits from local building authorities. We will:

• Inform you when permits are required
• Obtain necessary permits on your behalf (permit fees are additional)
• Schedule required inspections
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds local and national electrical codes

You agree to provide access for inspections as required.

Warranty

We stand behind our work with the following warranty:

• Labor Warranty: One (1) year warranty on all labor performed
• Materials: Manufacturer's warranty applies to all materials and equipment

Warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or acts of nature
• Work performed or modified by others after our installation
• Normal wear and tear
• Issues caused by existing conditions not addressed in our scope of work

Scheduling and Access

By scheduling an appointment, you agree to:

• Provide a safe and clear work area
• Ensure access to electrical panels and work areas
• Be present or designate a responsible adult (18+) to be on-site
• Provide 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule

A trip charge may apply for missed appointments or appointments canceled with less than 24-hour notice.

Intellectual Property

The content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Absolute Electrical Services and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Absolute Electrical Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with our services or these terms.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Absolute Electrical Services and its employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of our website or services, or your violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of these terms shall be brought in the courts of Sonoma County, California.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or our services, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful, the parties agree to mediation before pursuing other legal remedies.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
